How to use the mBgeoWriter plugin
(a plug in for maya for exporting polygon and point information)
Export the geo from Maya
- Select the geo in maya
- In the script editor type mbgeoWriter
- Set the path to exported bgeo's (you can use $F4 sydntax for zero padded files)
- tick the write box
- set the level of verbosity that you require
- press play
Load the Geo in Houdini
- Create a File node
- Set the path to the bgeo files written by mbgeo/maya (press play
